Cedric's American Adventures

Since Cedric's return to the United States in July, he's traveled across the country doing quite a bit of domestic sight-seeing.

Just a few days after arriving in California, he visited Disneyland.

Later that week, he checked out Hollywood.

But his favorite Western adventure by far was his journey to the Grand Canyon--just look what those European gnomes are missing out on!

Just this past weekend, Cedric traveled to Washington D.C., where he posed for a quick snapshot in front of the White House.

Cedric Gains a Deeper Understanding of the EU

Back in March, Cedric paid a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. He learned that the members of the European Parliament speak 23 different official languages; Gnomish, however, is unfortunately not among them.

Muenchen

Cedric stops for a picture outside the Hofbraeuhaus in Munich... but decides that a Kugel of Eis from the stand next door seems more appealing than beer.

Cedric's Semester Break

Cedric in front of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. Confusing the locals, just like in Wuerzburg.

Valentine's Day in Paris: obligatory tourist shot in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Cedric Explores Deutschland

First day in Wuerzburg: somewhat overwhelmed.

Surveying the city from the Festung Marienburg.

The Residenz gardens. Cedric is liking Wuerzburg more and more.

The other garden-dwellers, however, didn't quite know what to think about Cedric.

Cedric visits the Wasserturm in Mannheim.

Nick the Gnome came all the way from the BCM in Tuscaloosa to keep Cedric company.

Cedric visits Rothenburg ob der Tauber and gets slightly lost; his traveling companions realize that the road name changes on the other side of the wall.

Traveling with the Deutsche Bahn.

In front of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.

Cedric hanging out with his Californian friend, Wendel the Stingray, at the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.

Cedric Says Goodbye to Alabama

This blog is the story of an humble little gnome named Cedric. Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Cedric traveled throughout his home state during the summer of 2008. In September 2008, he moved to Wuerzburg, Germany, and has since been eagerly exploring Europe.
